[NF] Thoughts on ultra-wide screen monitors?

Curious if any of you have switched to an ultra wide screen screen monitors and what your experience has been. By "ultra wide" I mean something wider than 30" with a 3440 X 1440 or higher resolution and 16:9 or 21:9 aspect ratios. 1. Did you stay with the ultra wide or return to your original setup? 2. Did you keep your original monitors or move all your activity to the ultra-wide display? 3. If you're happy with your ultra-wide recommendations on vendor and model 4. Pros, cons? We had so much fun at Virtual Fox Fest 2020 that we've decided to do more online conferences. They won't all be three-day events; in fact, the next one (Thursday, May 6, 2021) is a one-day event. [NF] WFH desktop heater?

Hey! Looking for recommendations on a desktop heater for my home office. Ideally one that's small and quiet with a steady warmth vs the one I have right now which sounds like a jet taking off with an equivalent blast of heat. I'm not looking to heat my entire office, just the vicinity of my upper body in front of my monitors. My current mode of operation: freezing > barbecued > freezing > repeat. sql server connection

I have a VFP) app that uses MS sqlserver as backend. The SQL Server is located in a web provider The connection is achieved by creating a DSN throught the ODBC driver in my PC I need to deploy this app to several clients. But none of them should use their ODBC driver to create the connection, or install the applicable SQL Server Native Client in their PC. The idea is that I would send them my VFP application exe and they would simply connect to the cloud SQL Server and run the app without any further operations to install the exe. I tried SQLConnect and SQLStringConnect, but they always refer to an existing DSN Is there a way to accomplish this without my clients intervention other than lodging the exe in the applicable directory in their PC's ?? MemberClass update

I have an established class library and I'm wanting to now update the base class properties MemberClass and MemberClassLibrary. I have created the appropriate prg based Column and Header classes. A form or class that uses the changed baseGrid class works fine. A form or class that uses a class that contains the baseGrid is unable to load that class. Let's explain the hierarchy. baseLibrary contains baseGrid, and baseContainer moduleLibrary contains a subclass of baseContainer that has a baseGrid in moduleTransactionsDetail. This moduleTransactionDetail class has additional controls like buttons and labels for use in multiple places. Error loading file - record number 233. moduleTransactionDetail <or one of its members>. Parent : Cannot add this object to a Grid All the class libraries and forms will build without errors. Attempt to modify them, or run them and these errors occur. Does anyone have suggestions why these would be failing? Well, I got notice today that I'm done with my current Corporate gig as of 3/1. And I learned my Uncle Bob passed away last night just before midnight. (I wasn't close to him but he's still family.) Not a great start to February! Since losing my VFP job in early 2017, I've been playing the "Business Analyst" role since then. You know how it is with regards to VFP dev work (it's non-existent!). "This too shall pass." --Mom's famous words of encouragement many decades ago. ;-) One thing never changes though...our love for the Fox and our virtual water-cooler here!
