In 5 days I'll be attempting to cycle the 103-mile course [0] for the Tour de Cure, a cycling event to raise money for research into a cure for diabetes. This past Saturday I rode in the Shiner GASP [1] as a training exercise. It was a little over 48 miles, and even with a strong headwind coming back, I finished without a problem [2]. Oh, and since the ride started and finished at the Shiner Brewery, there was much beer to be consumed for the victorious! [3] So first I'd like to thank everyone who has donated so far. VFP to XLSX file

I just can't figure what I'm doing wrong with this code. Odd menu behavior in Win7Pro/VFP9SP2 all of the sudden

All of the sudden, when I go into VFP and choose something off the main menu, the dropdown area appears but it's all blank. As I scroll down over where the item choices would be, they appear as I scan over them. Same Windows version. Not sure if a recent Windows Update caused it? Very weird. Has anyone seen this? Hi all I am trying (initially) to create a new folder in SQL Server Reporting Services. HRESULT = 0x80020005: Type mismatch. The syntax for calling CreateFolder is Public Sub CreateFolder( _ ByVal Folder As String, _ ByVal Parent As String, _ ByVal Properties() As [Namespace].Property _ ) In VB or, in C# public void CreateFolder( string Folder, string Parent, [Namespace].Property[] Properties ) But I cannot work out what to send as the Properties parameter from VFP. I'm sure we're all familiar with the standard way to swap two variables: LOCAL p, q p = 1 q = 2 Swap(@p, @q) && pass by reference PROCEDURE Swap(v1, v2) LOCAL dum dum = v1 v1 = v2 v2 = dum ENDPROC Using this technique to swap two array elements doesn't work. If you try this: LOCAL ARRAY a[2] a[1] = 1 a[2] = 2 Swap(@a[1], @a[2]) you'll get Error 11. I need to get QB Pro 2016 for not only my stuff but to also help with dev work related to one of Jeff Johnson's clients. Yes - it is entertaining - getting a look at the inside of the Fox co.! Its also fun reading about the development of FoxPro - which they originally codenamed FireFox. And, remembering the excitement of it first being unveiled by Dave himself at the Fox Dev. conf. I attended. So - in reading this book - I can Seriously relate to my own experiences - originally working w/Foxbase+, then being the 1st at my job to get to play with FoxPro. Although, I just finished the chapter where this programmer woman named Carol was fired. And, Kerry & the others thought it strange when it happened - especially since Dave had another programmer, Chris, fire the woman instead of himself. Interesting indeed Momma!
