String Reference to Object

Dear Foxers: I sometimes have a "reference" to an object that is in the form of a string variable. I have used &reference..referredto Is there a better way of doing this? (reference).referredto would be nice, but it does not compile. Sincerely, Gene Wirchenko

[NF] Camtasia for producing demos with video and callouts on screen

Used to use Qarbon's ViewletBuilder years ago but that uses/used Flash so I stopped and then have been using TechSmith's SnagIt capture for the past couple years. SnagIt is great for recording live demos but it doesn't allow me to add on-screen annotations the demo like Qarbon's Viewletbuilder did. I was thinking of pulling the trigger on Camtasia but wanted to solicit the list's comments about what they use for creating such annotated demos. tia, --Michael
