Questions About Some VFP Data Types

I finished all of my boss's requests for the moment, and now, I am back working on my grid replacement. Some day, maybe, I will have one.

I am curious about some VFP data types. What exactly are they?

For each of them, is the data type ever used as a table or cursor's column data type or as the type of an input control's data value? For some, I have another question.
