Whoa! Mediocre is one thing. Uninspired still does the job. It is the "or worse" that gets me. How people figure that a Webpage or app should be like that is beyond me. >UX is hard. (Re-sending....) I'm getting ready to do some Python learning on PluralSight.com and the dude mentioned PyQT for desktop applications. Ed & Paul (and others) -- your thoughts on that? Was interested in your take since you did Dabo for desktop applications with Python. Thanks! --Mike

I just delivered a new system which includes a mailing function. The client needs to send 500 to 700 invoices per month to its customers, in PDF format. They use gmail Question: How many emails does Gmail accept to be mailed in a single shot? I was told that they have a limit which, when surpassed, blocks Gmail Anybody? Thank you Rafael Copquin

One more point for the desktop application: Navigation. I've worked with many applications that are intense data entry - and the best ones can be 'driven' entirely from the keyboard. You don't have to reach for the mouse to make selections, etc. Of course, there are those users that don't know where the TAB key is... Trying to fill out forms on the Web? Only about one half of the web pages I encounter can even set focus to the first fillable field - let alone navigate the entire page efficiently. (bank login pages...) Dear Ed: I noticed that just today some E-mails from the list have not been getting routed to my ProFox folder. The culprit is that the To address has changed from profox(a)leafe.com to profox(a)mail.leafe.com Some were mine, and I had specified the first address in my post, but it was changed to the second.
