[ADMIN] Change to Profox list message headers?

Hi Ed, I've noticed that the profox emails are now coming in with your gmail address as the sender instead of some variation of profox. Which is breaking my inbound filtering. Which I can fix, of course, but thought I should ask if this is a permanent change. [NF] Replacing IE's "Export to Excel" in Edge

Not Fox, though Fox makes perfectly good HTML so it could have been: A clien set of HTML reports she runs in one of my applications. "Export to Excel" t calls me up and complains the right-mouse-click-menu option "Export to Excel" doesn't work any more on awas an IE feature when you examined an HTML table, which apparently they chose not to duplicate in Edge, the new replacement browser with the big blue E for an icon. Clients don't know the difference, only that my software doesn't work. Microsoft giveth and Microsoft taketh away again. *sigh* Not the first time,... I suppose I can work up a feature to duplicate all the functionality by exporting all the data to SpreadsheetML when requested, but I wondered if anyone had run into this and knew of a workaround. [NF] Lenovo observes the 25th anniversary of the ThinkPad

Lenovo's having a 25% off sale today only on their new ThinkPad 470, in observation of the 25th anniversary of the ThinkPad. I've owned a bunch of these, and really liked the fit and finish and reliability, right up to the point where they started loading spyware in the BIOS/EFI as well as glop on the OS. Solid machines, and the pointer stick rocked. Bill Machrone observed 30 years ago that the laptop you want always costs $5000 [1]. Max out this baby and you might be able to hit $3,000. [NF] RegAsm

I'm trying to register a foreign DLL using RegAsm (per page 2 on https://west-wind.com/presentations/wwDotnetBridge/wwDotnetBridge.pdf) but it's nowhere to be found on my machine. I found this on a google search: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/tools/regasm-exe-assembly… I'm guessing this is part of Visual Studio???

Ken (and others), Turns out to be a SET COMPATIBLE issue. Put a generic text box on a generic form, set the value of the text box to {}, run with the setting ON, add all "2"s and you can't clear them out... There was an interesting talk on the BBC yesterday on the recent internet ransom attacks. I didn't hear the talk myself but a friend told me about it. One of the interviewees was from Europol's European Cybercrime Centre and he recommended their website https://www.nomoreransom.org/about-the-project.html which has decryption tools for a number of recent viruses. Folks, I'm looking for some ideas on this...I haven't had the time to fully analyze it and I thought I would ask the hive minds for suggestions. I'm working for a client that's having problems with their date fields. Piece of cake, I thought. The two date fields on this form are straight textboxes, no subclassing whatsoever. There's a little bit of code in the Refresh method of these but all I remember is it's three lines of code. I'm pretty sure the form is subclassed but I haven't had to time to analyze the subclassing. Anyway, enter a valid date (set century is on) such as "11/11/1111" and you blow through to the next field. Expected. Then try "22/22/2222" and the field becomes highlighted *and you cannot remove the characters*. There's no "Invalid Date" message. It feels like you're in a very tight keyboard loop and you can't break out. I can click on the close box on the form and see it depress, but no action is taken (My take is that Windows events are superceding the VFP events but once VFP takes over, it's the infinite loop). There is nothing I can do to change the invalid date even though I'm stuck in the field (Delete key does nothing, trying to enter new values to overwrite the old values does nothing, etc.). They use jKey but I didn't notice a change of behavior if I released this library. In short, if the user enters a bad date, they're absolutely hosed. Any pointers?
