Using Soap from non web server machine?

After never needing it for 20 years, I now need to develop and implement a SOAP solution which will send claim information out to a site, and return responses. I'm RTFM-ing now, but one thing that concerns me, is that if I understand this correctly, I need a web server to get responses back. Is this correct? We have a MS database server where the data, and this application would live. We have a separate web server, on a linux box, that can access the MS machine. If I write this, 1) can I send this request out from the DB Server, and get a response back? 2) Send something to the web server, have the server send and receive the request and send it back to the db server? 3) run a very limited web server which would only listen for the client's ip range, in order to send/get requests? I'm not looking for details, I just need an idea of the general direction I need to head. If I could do 1) that would be awesome, but if I'm understanding what I'm reading so far, I'll need to do 2 or 3. Would appreciate clues. The limits I have seen are by emails, not attachments. There is a 10mb limit on an email on most servers. However, this would get stuck in the outbox. Task pane

Just a warning I have an app that closes everything after running. As I like the task pane up I look to see if in development mode (the app that is) and do sys(2004) + “taskpane.app” This seems to freeze VFP. The task pane shows up but empty and stays that way. Outlook and VFP

In my accounting system, clients can email their clients an invoice or copy of an invoice. It places the message and pdf into Outlook. Outlook then takes care of it, and you can all such emails in the Sent folder This has worked for years! I now have a client who has shown me her Sent folder and I can see dozens of entries where it has sent the email, but no attachment. Can anyone suggest how this can happen? MariaDB ODBC Connector 1.0 for Windows in VFP

Anybody familiar with the MariaDB ODBC Connector for Windows? I can't get connected using it as I get an "Connectivity Error: Unknown system variable 'max_allowed_packet_size'". This is the 32 bit driver on a Win7 32bit machine. when using SQLSTRINGCONNECT("Driver={MariaDB ODBC 1.0 Driver};Server=localhost;UID=myuser;PWD=mypwd;DB=test;Port=3306;") I can create a DSN and it says it connects in the Test mode, but I can't connect using that DSN (same error as above). I've googled for this error and literally nothing of pertinence shows up. I can get the MySQL ODBC 5.3 driver to work, but no luck with the MariaDB Connector. A client has asked that I Change the memo details on their invoice to SIMSUN font I logged in via Teamviewer and noted this font is available when in Word But, when I look for it whilst modifying the report, it does not show.
