ProFox Email List
ProFox is a free Online Support resource where many people in the FoxPro community go to get answers to their development problems, or to help others by answering the questions which are posted. It is the premier email-based peer-to-peer support option available.
Be aware that ProFox is a community, not just a technical resource. As a result, there are postings on a wide variety of topics, many of which don't have anything to do with Fox. Subscribers self-police such posts by inserting [OT] into their Subject lines to flag such Off Topic posts.
If you do not wish to receive such posts (which can be very numerous, depending on the day and what's going on in the world), you should subscribe to ProFoxTech, which is the exact same list, but with all the Off Topic messages filtered out for you.
Posts should be plain text; if you send HTML email, the HTML will be stripped. All non-plain text messages, as well as those from addresses that are not subscribed to the list, will be held for administrative review, due to the increased liklihood of these messages being spam instead of legitimate postings.
Attachments are also prohibited, and will be automatically stripped. If you have some code that you'd like to share with your fellow Foxers, it can be posted to the Download page by submitting it here.
