Why does this crap happen at the worst possible times?
Time to dig into my CleverFoxBackup copy to restore what it was last backup.

Mike,
I have seen this before. I am not certain but I believe a copy exists somewhere. Look for .pjt files on your drive. You may find a file that is obviously wrong. If so, rename it.
If that does not work try something like Recuva.

Thankfully we had an older copy that got me going again.
Times like these show you were your internal processes may need adjustment. <g>

I would highly recommend using FoxBin2PRG to generate the text equivalent of your project, if not all your VFP binaries. And then use something like Git to have it kept safe and sound in version control.
To Carl's point and for future ref, I believe VFP often creates obscure files that are the equivalent of the DBF/FPT in the VFP or Windows temp location while an SCX/VCX, etc is being edited.

+ for FoxBin2Prg I've been using FoxBin2Prg since the beginning of 2019 and it has been helpful on many occasions in just that short time.

If it wasn't the worst possible time, it wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun.
Why is it that a lost item is always in the last place that you look?
