I'm sad to pass on the news that Charles Hankey has passed away.
Charles was a colorful character with some fascinating history.
Foxers may remember him as one of the team at F1 Technologies.
I met Charles at the Toledo fox conferences ( https://tedroche.com/homepage/~tedroche/Photos/Index.htm) and knew him through a few forums.
We reunited on the now-failed social media platform formerly known as Twitter and traded many stories of other parts of our lives and got to be good friends.
He will be missed.

Sorry to hear the news.
Some time in the 90s I was going to a conference out west (can't remember which), and the airfare from Cleveland was much cheaper than from Rochester, NY. Charles offered to put me up for the night, and drive me to the airport at some ungodly hour the next morning.
He said he always drove a specific model of Cadillac because he felt that clients would be impressed and take him more seriously. I think he just liked Cadillacs. :)

He sure led an interesting life! And great photos, Ted. Somehow Rick Schummer hasn't aged a day. And Whil looks younger now than then. RIP Charles.
