Maybe a serial port connection, and use Kermit?
Or, type out the files (or print), directed at a serial port, and collect them on the other end with a simple program that captures the data stream?

That would likely work, too. I'll have to find a few "spare minutes" and see what I've got for hardware, blow the dust out of them, and see what will actually start up, then decide which way to go.
