So, I just made a reply in another thread, but, didn't want to truly hi-jack it - so, am starting a new one.
And, yeah - it's partially about the Vfpx.org site that I went to. It got me thinking...
Since VFP is Dead in the eyes of MS. I'm really curious to know. Can one legitimately download a full install version of VFP - a full Dev environment - and it's fully legal to do?
Again - I'm just curious about this...
TIA, -K

Nope, the IDE Is still under copyright. Downloading it would be a Bad Thing.

Thanks Garrett - I did kind of figure that was the case.

Probably if you have a MSDN subscription (or whatever they call it this week). They still had Windows 3.11 for download last time I looked.
I'll check tomorrow when I'm in the office. Yes, the office. After 5 years of WFH I'm being forced back.
Thanks Paul. But, yeah - I don't have an MSDN.
I've always worked at various companies doing VFP - and was always onsite gigs. Which is why I was curious.

VFP 9.0 is still NOT freeware like MS-DOS! :)
It's impossible to buy VFP 9 (still 32-bit) from software shops as well now if not from MSDN. But the VFP in MSDN doesn't allow you to sell programs built with it.
