Who knows what went on but the messenger service to the ERP is not doing what is should.

What ERP solution? Foxpro? SAP? Peoplesoft?

InFor LN is what we use. Our App server is at a very high CPU rate. 75% was the lower bar for the CPU graph I see for the past 8 days. We have 200 workstations as well as 800+ robotic stations and scanners/labelers.

Every month, following MS's Patch Tuesday. Probably overkill, but it has fixed a lot of outstanding support calls when things just stopped working right, coinciding with patch updates.

We ask our SME team is what is new this week? That might take an hour to get the accurate story because we are either alpha or advanced beta on a few of these products the ERP company is selling. All of them save us time and keeps head count as low as possible.
Our listener, ION, is not passing the completed work requests back to the ERP from the many different app servers that we have bought into. that is probably 6 app servers for the reboot but if you don't do the whole frigging family in the correct order something doesn't work and then all the frigging app servers are not happy.
And we all like happy app servers as we are leaving on Friday afternoon, don't we? ;->
