I wanted to look at some of the code in c:\program files (x86)\microsoft visual foxpro 9\tools\filer\filer.scx. When I tried to open the form I got the error "filer.sct is missing/invalid". The file is there but something is obviously awry. Version is VFP9 SP2 7423. Any ideas guys?

I see the same thing here. Running Win10/64-bit btw, which may be a clue.
I tried "MODI FILE ... file.sct" and got an "Access Denied" message, definitely a clue!
quit and ran VFP as Administrator, and I can open the file without a problem, so it's a permission issue.
Guessing it something with SCT files which iirc are also some kind of a scripting thing.
Moved it to Docs/VFP Projects and it opened fine.
Stupid Windows.
You might want to copy those two files out of the Program Files folder and try again.

Thanks people. Run as administrator fixed it.
