(As long as we're renaming threads, I think we should drop the [NF], since I'm definitely looking at this for running FoxPro apps!)
Gene, I'm quite familiar with the DOSBox site and forum, but again, never looked up "printing" on it. I just saw the documentation that said printing wasn't supported and stopped there!
Thanks for the recommendation of FreeDOS, Ted. I had forgotten about that one.

Thanks for the link, Gene. Inability to print was certainly one thing forcing us to use XP Mode. Never occurred to me to Google "DOSBox printer support" I'll definitely check it out!
Glad to be of help.
Maybe, you also did not know about the DOSBox site. See http://www.dosbox.com/ For the forums, click on "Forum" in the menu just under the black band.

I got some apps running locally, but don't recall if I got networking. If you recall from the DOS days, finding and configuring the right drivers for the NIC (in this case, the simulated NIC the VM is presenting) and getting the TCP/IP stack and NetBIOS-over-ICP and NetBeui, *shudder*, can be a bit of work.
Use Visual Foxpro to write a bridge via a DBF print queue? :)
