I finally moved my dev to a Windows 10 laptop. Was using Win7 forever prior. The window dialog border "phantoms/shadows" is very annoying. It'd be great if Mr. Chen fixed in addition to the other bugs he's fixed!
(I think I have his name wrong...I've looked on his http://www.baiyujia.com/vfpadvanced/f_vfpa_gotovfpa64.asp site but I just see CCB)
One of the very first bugs he fixed was a phantom shadow bug. Are you talking about the one where if you drag a window it will leave a shadow of the frame of the window artifcated all over the screen?

No. When I'm dragging the Project window (or is it the Properties window?) horizontally, it instantly shows a phantom outline to the right, far right of where I actually am in my drag/move operation.

This is what you need to do change the behavior. It does make it so you cannot dock the window by dragging it. You can still Dock the window with a command. (DOCK WINDOW) http://www.baiyujia.com/vfpdocuments/f_vfp9fix19.asp

If you haven't seen it, check out my VFPA Whitepaper http://saltydogllc.com/wp-content/uploads/SELJE-VFP-Advanced.pdf from SWFox a couple of years ago. Page 9 addresses this issue, but you do have to "enable" the fix because VFPA leaves VFPs default set by default for maximum compatibility.
