Can i load a copy of Windows 7 32-bit on a new machine and have it reasonably likely to load? I have an old legacy Fox 2.6 program that would be way too expensive to convert to Foxpro 9.0.

You mean install Win 7 on new hardware? It will work fine.
Hi Michael,
you have many options:
- install the 32 bit version of Windows 10, the license is the same of the Windows 10 64 bit you are running now
- install the 32 bit version of Windows 10 (or any version you like) in a virtual machine
If your new pc come with Windows 10 Pro it can run Hyper-V as it is included (only) in the Pro version of Windows 10.
If your Windows 10 is the Home version, you can use a third party software like Virtual Box www.virtualbox.org

I use Vmplayer to run legacy applications.

Have you tried just compiling the source and running it? VFP carries an amazing amount of baggage - @..SAY/GET for example is fully supported etc.
Check the drivers section in the webpage of that new machine?
I think most hardware manufacturers are still providing Win 7 drivers.
Though 64-bit Window$ won't run 16-bit programs, you might consider using virtual machines or DOSbox to run them.

Thank you for all the responses
