No Kidding! IS that right? I wouldn't doubt it - considering some of the humor from Techies! You should see the names of the rooms inside of Area 404 (which itself is a joke) - the hi-tech lab inside FaceBook! I was there visiting a buddy of mine - who is a manager there. Its pretty wild.

The Python Package Index, which is the repository for 3rd-party packages, was originally named the "Cheese Shop", after this famous Monty Python sketch:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3KBuQHHKx0 https://wiki.python.org/moin/CheeseShop
In fact, https://cheeseshop.python.org will redirect to https://pypi.org/
The editor included with Python is named IDLE (https://docs.python.org/3/library/idle.html), in honor of Monty Python's Eric Idle.

Hey there Ed,
Its good to see you pop your head in on this thread. Especially since I know of your own deep appreciation for Python - and I kind of expected you would reply.
Interesting stuff you posted indeed - I will definitely have to check out some of those links!

There's also a refactoring tool for Python called Bicycle Repair Man.
