Well, I got the same answer back again from Verizon. I have replied in the past their are no spam issues, nor is my IP address dynamically assigned, but they really don't care it seems.
So if you have a Verizon email address, I would recommend either contacting them about fixing this dumb decision, or else just find another email provider for your profox email (Gmail would be a good choice!).
