Hey Stephen - that's a pretty funny one! I even passed it around to a few people in my office.

Very funny Steve.
Now as a related issue I have this question:
Is it possible to stop Windows 10 to automatically install its upgrades?
I used to run on Windows 7 professional (32 bit). I upgraded to Windows 10 with no major issues other than reinstall some software with updated drivers.
But yesterday, when I started my PC it began to update itself and the damn thing took 37 minutes to do that!!!! And I have a fast computer!!
In the meantime a lot of encouraging words appeared on the screen stating that now my Windows 10 experience would be enhanced and I would reach something akin to nirvana, but the screen was black most of the time and I could do absolutely nothing.
What a waste of precious time!!
Again, is there a way to control these updates?

Do not turn off. Hibernate instead.

Gaah NO!, My laptop has issues that while it's hibernated, and windows updates have been issued, but not installed, Win10 gets confused as to what's going on. (I lose the task bar or parts of it, the icons on the desktop look strange, and other misc weirdness). I then have to restart and let the updates sort themselves out and things are OK again.
I do believe there are a few registry hacks that can be used to turn off the automatic updating, but hibernate does have some issues, at least on my laptop.

Absolutely - otherwise nobody would use it in a large corporate environment. But you need to be on a 'pro/business' edition for that.
The EULA for the home editions states that MS will download the updates automatically but you can still choose when to apply them.
See under 'Group Policy Editor' here : http://www.redmondpie.com/disable-turn-off-automatic-updates-in-windows-10-h...
