Serial number on phone's label on the back back different than software - - *#06# The IMEs are the same

The way it's presented makes it sound rather suspicious. You may want to query Google how to find out if a phone has been reported stolen. Or if it is a counterfeit.
I have a couple of S7s that work just fine. Yeah, the battery no longer lasts as long as I like, but that's minor (and typical.)
