Hi Ed,
I've noticed that the profox emails are now coming in with your gmail address as the sender instead of some variation of profox. Which is breaking my inbound filtering. Which I can fix, of course, but thought I should ask if this is a permanent change.
Thanks,

Damn, I look good in shades!
Richard,
I use the List-Id: line in the headers for my filtering.

I’ve gotten so many notices that people’s ISPs have blocked email from mail.leafe.com, and looking over the internet, the solution many recommended was to relay the mail through a gmail account. Nobody mentioned that it would change the address, though. I could set up a profox@gmail account, and relay through that...

I can update or add a rule. It's just a matter of having something consistent to hang my Lookout filtering rules...

Someone already has ‘profox@gmail.com’, so I set up ‘profoxlist@gmail.com’. Let’s see if that makes things less confusing.

Apparently there is a daily limit on the amount of mail you can send through gmail: 500
Since there are currently 474 subscribers, that’s going to max out pretty fast, so I’m back to direct sending.

And What happens if you use 2 accounts? Maybe 1000?

Sure. Then how do you split the transmission of the emails to the multiple Gmail accounts.
AFAIK - Not a simple task...

That’s not possible - you can only set a single relay for Postfix.

And you've gone through these suggestions? https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126#authentication
Though, short emails, and the 5 links at the bottom of the email, may drag the email in the spam.

Yes, but that’s not the issue. Some ISPs have blanket bans on emails from virtual servers in clouds, like mine in Digital Ocean. You don’t need to do anything spammy; your IP address is reason enough.
