Don't forget about Clipper the xBase compiler for DOS!!
It has its glory days and many small shops & restaurants are still using POS written with Clipper.

Downsizing so I've been clearing out the loft - just threw out a complete set of User and Technical Reference manuals for Clipper and Visual Objects, together with FP-Dos and VFP 3 on floppy disks. Haven't yet had the will to throw out my three-ring binder manuals for Dos, Basic (both IBM) and Lotus123.

Well - Michael did mark the Posting as [NF] - so its fine to post a Tech story that's not related to VFP.
But - re:VFP. At my job here - there are Two major applications still in use that are both VFP based. I support one of those 2 apps. There is also another minor that's also done in VFP - and I also support that app. But, needless to say - they are already in the process of creating new apps to replace ALL the VFP apps. The major VFP app I support is one that I am going to be helping with the new App dev to replace it. Replacement will be C#/.Net front end & MS SQL back-end.

I'm in the process of writing a C# module for the Italian market (which we are moving into). Screenshots I have from an existing app is definitely Fox 2.6 for Windows...
