Greetings, happy campers. Pop quiz this fine Monday.
- How many VFP books do you own?
8 or so.
- How many are dead-tree paper and how many ebooks?
All are paper; I have some PDF versions of some.
- What is your most well-worn VFP books? Or most referenced ebook?
Hacker's 6.
- What book do you regret not owning?
Hacker's 9. That it does not exist does not mean the regret does not exist.
- Would you buy VFP books if you could find them?
Possibly Hacker's 9. Others would be decided on a case-by-case basis.
I would like something on multi-user and retrofitting multi-user onto a single-user system.
Also something on a workable grid with column- and row-level validation. (And I do not care if you do not see the need for it. I DO!)
- Preferred format? Paper, PDF, CHM, ePub, HTML, other (which?)
Paper.
I use a sophisticated notes system called putting lots of sticky notes in books. This works great with paper copies but not with electronic copies.
Sincerely,
Gene Wirchenko

Me, as well.

What's the point of margins without marginalia? Agree completely.
