Hi, folks:
I find myself in the funny position of having to recreate a VFP7 development environment, and having some trouble locating all the pieces. My VFP7 DVD (and serial number!) were in the proper place in the archives, but I wasn't as careful about archiving the SP1 patch nor the matching patches for the installshield MSMs that install updated runtimes.
The MSFT site has a link for VFP7SP1, but it errors out.
Google points out InstallShield updates, but it too 404's.
I do have the vRunFox7 executable, of course (thanks, Ed!) and the runtime installer from dfPUG, so I can cobble something together.
I'm digging through the dusty archives, but if anyone can point our a reliable, non-malware-laced, place to get these online, I'd be grateful.

Correct!
Those are the *runtime* files, but the main VFP7.exe is still the original (07.00.0000.9262) instead of the SP1 (blah.blah.blah.9465)
Download.com offers VFP70SP1.msp, but I'd prefer a more reliable source.

Allen:
Thanks for the offer, and confirming that's the file I want. Knowing that (and using a Linux "find" instead of the stupid Windows Explorer Search! grr!) I was able to find the file in an obscure little corner of our too-many-terabytes NAS. So I've got the needle on my local network, I just couldn't find it in the haystack.
And of course, not just one copy, but one copy for every workstation I've had since it shipped! :)

FYI, the CNET Download.com version of the file is exactly identical to my 2002 version, according to Beyond Compare.

or if you're searching local drives, UltraSearch will do it extremely quickly by searching the NTFS file allocation table instead of the physical disk.

Or, if you have Windows 10 and Windows Subsystem for Linux enabled:
bash grep -s -r --include "*.txt" "string to search for" /mnt/c/mypath
I have no idea how to access UNC paths from Bash, only physical drives show up in /mnt.

Same as in CMD.EXE or whatever, except with forward slashes.
Doesn't work here:
ls //server/share/ ls: cannot access //server/share/: No such file or directory
Can anyone else verify that the Fox Wiki site is down please?
