Steven Black announces the Open Source release of the INTL toolkit:
https://doughennig.blogspot.com/2019/10/intl-is-now-open-source.html
And, inspired by Steve's decision, Doug Hennig has released SDT, the Stonefield Database Toolkit:
https://github.com/DougHennig/StonefieldDatabaseToolkit
These are both great tools I've used in past projects, and I recommend them!
In that same area we should also mention:
The "Hackers Guide to Visual FoxPro" is also now online and OpenSource https://hackfox.github.io/

I knew if I waited long enough, I would get it for free ;-)

Does anyone know if VFP can write pdf files?
TIA
Roger
If you can work out the structure of a PDF I'm sure you can do it. I prefer to print to a PDF printer or use something like PDFtk to fill in PDF forms.

I just have vfp switch to a PDF printer and output that way, if you can do that. If not WWIPSTUFF from west wind contains a good PDF class.
The West Wind class wwPDF still requires a PDF driver to be installed on the machine from other sources. It’s just a wrapper class around PDF printing, but does not have the required drivers with it.

Foxypreviewer produces PDF files based on VFP reports if that's your target scenario.
At our company, we have been producing PDF files for years using TextControl, and now we are evaluating Foxit for its signing capabilities and programmatic features.

Google it - Foxite, FoxWiki etc have plenty - also iirc there was a Report Listener for this written by [lady's name eludes me]. I used *GhostScript *years ago, it worked but the screen fonts were rubbish (you could use Windows fonts for printing, but I was using it for ad-hoc on-screen queries).

Excellent Ted, many thanks - that is indeed the remarkable lady whose name I had forgotten. I have bookmarked your link.
p.s. I may perhaps be forgiven my forgetfulness - it's 15 years since I discussed this: https://leafe.com/archives/msg/262404

Bravo, well-found! I hold Lisa in the highest esteem.
And thanks to Ed and the great archive!
