Hypothetically, if you had a VFP application and wanted to start processing Shared group calendars in Exchange where the users have Outlook on their desktop, how would you go about doing that?
Automate exchange with COM Add-ins or .NET code? Automate outlook? Run screaming into the woods? (My choice)
Anyone have libraries or utilities to recommend?

Wow, it's been decades since I've done this. I don't think I even have any code anymore. When I did it, I automated outlook.

Powershell is the tool to write the script in. Call that script from VFP.

Hi Ted,
I would use Redemption, which offers a whole objectstack to address the Exchangeserver directly. http://www.dimastr.com/redemption/home.htm

Good suggestion! I used Redemption years ago (okay, decades) when MS first broke Outlook Automation, throwing some of my major production systems into chaos. Good to see they're still around.
Thanks, wOOdy!
