Folks,

I'm being urged to apply a DisableLeasing registry hack to my Windows 2012 file server to address a problem with a split Access database application (not mine). There's some kind of ongoing issue with later Windows 10 releases and Access (I think beginning with Win 10 1803 and ongoing). MS has identified this as a problem but has been unable to fix it for a year and a half (*sigh*).

My reading seems to indicate that this somehow turns off some aspect(s) of SMB globally on the server. I recall years ago that people had issues with SMB and VFP tables in LAN settings. It's not clear to me that this is another version of that.

However, my VFP tables are on the same server as the back-end of this Access system, so I'd like to know if anyone has applied the DisableLeasing hack and subsequently had problems with VFP tables.
