Dear List Members:
Nothing since the 2nd.
1) The list could be down. Possibly.
2) The list members could be a bunch of slackers. Possibly, but not likely.
3) Labour Day weekend. A mild form of #2. Could be.
Let's find out.
I enjoyed mine quietly. So did you, or at least, you did not post about it here.
Sincerely,
Gene Wirchenko

Um, wouldn't your Labour Day be May 1?

I stand corrected. I should have Googled it first. I was surprised to find a variety of historical developments that resulted in various days being designated to celebrate labor. A much more complex story than the one I thought I knew.
Nope!

I can't explain the rest of the list, but your humble poster has been:
-- watering a new lawn installation 4x a day, 3 zones, 10 minutes a zone, using a manual valve, manifold, multiple hoses, tripod and stake impact sprinklers, with requisite hardware troubleshooting and tuning. -- monitoring the security situation as 20 times the entire village population walks to the state fair, next door -- eating food at said fair -- working on other exciting projects in foreign languages -- preparing the documentation to explain a 10-year-old system to a new owner (lots of "It seemed like a good idea at the time...")
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
