If you forget about the listener for now, does the report display the data?
If not, ensure you have the cursor that is to drive the report selected before running the report form command.
Once you've got the report displaying properly, then you can go ahead with your listener. FWIW, I spotted using listeners and use foxy preview for running and displaying reports and creating PDF s.

I need to print an invoice as a pdf file. I have a template with the company name, address,telephone number etc. All these items and several others are preprinted in this template. The template is a very common VFP report In different textboxes data from a table are obtained, such as client name, address,invoice number,date, item code, quantity, unit price and extended price plus other boxes for invoice subtotal, taxes and totals. Using a report listener I generate a pdf file, but only the preprinted items are shown in the pdf and none of the data from the textboxes appear.
Could any of you please furnish me with a simple example on how to generate a pdf file as described, using data extracted from a table?
