Roger -- I think (no, I KNOW) the new TeamViewer mgmt approach is to lock us out to try and get us to upgrade. I tell you...sometimes it seems very shady. Then the TV people send you the automated email saying something like "you were trying to access another session but your license only allows you to do 1 at a time" (or something like that)....which is CRAP, imo, because before they changed to the annual subscription model, I was able to open sessions to different clients simultaneously without issue. Again...shady, imo.
As such, they're pissing me off to the point I'm considering dumping them...but alas, I haven't yet because, well, I already paid for this perpetual license!!!!! :D

I have used TV for some time now however lately it is locking me out from some clients. I have also been searching for an alternative, I have found Cloud Berry and it seems to work without having the clients do dances to get it to run. If anyone has a better solution please let me know.
thanks in advance.

I bought a TeamViewer (TV) license a few years back and it's the purchased one-and-done lifetime license. TeamViewer's business model has changed and they've been pushing annual licenses now for over a year. I like my TV license and it works great for me; I don't see the need to upgrade to the latest. That said, I wondered if others are using another tool they enjoy and isn't expensive. Prior to TV, I used to use LogMeIn (LMI) but then their licensing prices went up too.
What's your current remote support tool of choice (other than UltraVNC etc. I wasn't a fan of VNC as YES, IT WORKED, but it wasn't as easy and user-friendly as TV or LMI. My clients on the other end of the support connection are NOT tech folks. I needed it to be super simple and that's what TV/LMI gave me.
