Hey there Ed,
Its nice to hear from you. Yeah - understood as to why you keep those forums running - takes less effort than to kill them off!
But, yes - got it. Will post questions here if need be - with the [NF] subject prefix - just to keep it Kosher!
Will say - its kinda fun to be getting back into the programming world a little. Python looks like it can be fun stuff. I've got several co-workers who have been dabbling in Python that past couple years. But, of course, should I really dig in - I could put them all to Shame! But, in a fun way - considering my extensive programming background.
Will also note...
Someone just posted on the 3D Printing forum, of which I am a member - some Python code to pause a print job. OF course, it was funny - since he posted the Actual code - giving it up for others to use. Not that its a bad thing. But, for folks that are Not programmers - and who have NOT setup a Python Dev environment, and don't know how to DL specific packages - its not an Easy thing. Best thing for the guy to do is also drop an EXE on the folks. Which I am about to suggest to the guy...

So, I know there is a Leafe mailing list for Python, as I just looked on the Leafe mailing lists website. But, sadly - unlike this one - it pretty much looks dead. Sad - since I was just beginning to get back into some Python programming again.
I set up the ProPython and ProLinux lists at a time when there was a lot of discussion about things on those topics on this list, and some members felt that that stuff didn't belong on a VFP list. But as you've noticed, there really isn't a need for those lists anymore, and since it takes me more effort to close them than to leave them running, they're still there.
But I still don't see anything wrong with asking Python questions here, as long as you add the [NF] in the subject, so that those members who only want VFP content can filter out such messages.
