Thanks Alan I have now disabled SMB1 on both computers and the Network node in Explorer now shows no computers at all (on either computer). Do I just accept that this is a limitation of Windows 10 Home Edition? Paul

Don't enable SMB1 support. You might as well leave your front door open when you leave the house.
