I have an external drive (STORAGE-0001) connected via USB to the NAS adapter.
On both the desktop and the laptop Network in File Explorer shows
Media Devices(1)
Sorage-0001 which when opened shows the NAS manager in a browser window/tab
Network Infrastructure (1)
ARRIS TG2492LG-85 Router which when opened shows the Hub 3 settings in a browser window/tab
On the Desktop, Network in File Manager shows Computers (3)
DesktopPC
Laptop
Storage-001 (which when opened shows the shared Public folder on the external drive)
However, on the Laptop, Network in File Manager shows Computers (1) which is the laptop itself and when opened shows its shared folder(s).
DesktopPC and Storage-0001 are not shown but can be opened by typing their network names (\ DesktopPC and \Storage-0001 file://Storage-0001 ) into the Explorer address bar.
After searching and trying all manner of suggestions I am still unable to resolve the issue (I am not even sure whether changes are required on the laptop or the desktop or both). I can provide further information if needed.
