I have a grid in my application that allows users to edit some columns. (Most of my grids don't allowCellSelection) There is 15 columns, the first two do not allow editing, the rest do. The 2nd column alignment appears as top left until it is clicked in at which time it aligns middle left like the other read only column. The other 13 columns are numeric and are all aligned middle right. The first 3 columns are locked. (lockcolumns = 3)
I have set the alignment to middle left on the column and the textbox, yet it still wants to first appear top left.
I have set this in the properties on the grid class and in the init event I also set them in the grid class. I have set this in the properties on the grid in the form and in the init event of the form. I have placed a button on the form that when clicked it sets these properties. I have used the Grid.ActivateCell(1,2) to try to trick the grid. I set the ReadOnly to false before I did. The When event returns a value on the form to prevent focus. It was allowing focus when I attempted the ActivateCell.
The text in that column does not align correctly until a row in that column is clicked. I also notice a white line (highlight?) around the inside of the cell when the cell is clicked. Once focus moves from that cell the highlight goes away.
Has anyone seen this and discovered the trouble behind it?
