Well, it's not cheap here... I think they're paying $798/mo unlimited data. But they're running all phone service over it via VOIP, and this facility is the hub (servers) for two other buildings, so it's justifiable.
I agree with you on the password, but because of the location of the building, and the size, it would be easy for someone in a hotel next door to connect with no password at all. I decided to keep it simple, like the name of the town the company is in, or the street name. Stuff that any employee can easily try. I've thought about posting the password on a bulletin board in the break room.

Around these parts that would be horrendously expensive.
We have 25 mbps to share among upwards of 100 users. So ain't nobody watching Glee on my bandwidth.
I don't password the wireless though, because I don't want people calling me in the evening or on weekends to ask me what the password is. We have the WAPs positioned and shaped such that you can't get useful throughput outside the building.
