Yeah, you can add devices to a free Teamviewer account and remote control them using the 'remote control using password' option with no user intervention on the other end. The only time the other person has to give you login details is if they are using the ad-hoc one-off support exe and don't actually have TV installed.

This is not correct. You can pre-set a login id and pw on the remote with Teamviewer. That is how I access my remotes with TV.
