Yeah - I agree. A used copy may be good. Downside - when you buy on the web - how can you truly TRUST who is on the other end of your purchase! It could be a DOG sitting at a keyboard - you created the sales item for your FoxPro stuff you purchase. Cause - it's a Dog-Eat-Dog world out there!!!

There could be “used” copies I guess but I doubt highly there are any unsold virgin (for lack of a better term) copies floating around out there. But can you be sure it’s coming from a legitimate source? Also, I don’t know what the MS license says about transferring not that I think they particularly care. VFP is still dead. 😉
From a practical perspective, if you can get a used copy that's clean you can do what you want.

Hey RK - in regards to your comment of "there's no legitimate way to get a full VFP9 dev environment." - maybe there's a Legit seller on like Ebay or Amazon that has the full legit VFP9 package - with manuals and all. Then it may be possible to purchase a legit full Dev Env install. Just a thought...
A search on Amazon turned up 1 hit - but, it then stated currently not available.
But, on EBay - I did get a bunch of hits - including people selling 3.0 & 5.0 versions of VFP SW.
