Naughty, naughty! Using a keyword as a name.
VFP does let you get away with it much of the time. My observation is that if the keyword is not being used in its keyword sense in the context, you can get away with it. Does this sound like a guarantee? No, so I still do not use it. Except when I did by accident. See my other post about display status.

FoxPro has improved greatly over the years (prior to the last ten or so), and you may benefit from upgrading to a later version. Going from 2.x to 3 or from 3 to 5 have been popular as they allow you to upgrade your hardware as well rewriting. Similarly, you may benefit from going from 5 to 6 or 6 to 7 or 7 to 8 or 8 to 9 or 9 to^W^W^W.
Thank you for using ProFox technical support. We appreciate that you have many choices in FoxPro support, and greatly value your loyalty. Please ensure that your tray is stowed, your seat is in its upright position and note that the nearest exit may be behind you.
FoxPro support is behind you (about ten years) so try a user group.
