I don't think so. SQL Server is compiled and runs on Windows machines. I don't think this is porting SQL Server to Linux.

I've been hooking up Linux clients to consume SQL Server data for a decade, using ODBC and TDS interfaces.

This is just SQL Server accessible via "the cloud," isn't it?
