We have a Raspberry PI connected to a TV on the wall. The PI displays a webpage with server stats etc.
Using CEC it even switches off the screen at 5pm and back on again at 9am Mon-Fri.
Been meaning to do some work on this. It could be much better!

You could use a video camera to record the monitor that has the VFP screen, then take that video signal and feed it into the back of the TV. Last time I did this IIRC, I went through a VCR, as it could take the video feed and add the TV encoding to have it come out on channel 3 or 4.
Or... you could provide us with a bit more information about the app, the computer, the TV and what you're trying to accomplish. That *might* be easier, but no guarantees!
