When you start VFP, what are the values of:
? SET("RESOURCE") ? SET("RESOURCE",1)
There's a good chance the file is read-only. Create a new resource file in the directory you want to work in, point to it in your CONFIG.FPW, and specify the CONFIG.FPW using the -c command-line parameter in the shortcut you use to start VFP.

I have a machine with VFP on it that does not remember my environment. When I start VFP up, I am always told "The resource file is not valid" Whether I overwrite it with an empty on or not, this message always comes back up. Now, by environment, here are 2 examples:
- I am working on a PRG. When I go back into the PRG, I am always at the top instead of at the exact line I left off at.2. When I Beautify a PRG, I always have to check Comments, Procedure, Do Case - they always go back to being unchecked.

I have been using Greenshot for the past 1-2 years. way to easy and having the editor to fix an image with circles and arrows, Group W Bench reference, is is great.

If you're just after screenshots then IMO GreenShot is as good as any of the commercial offerings and is free. Sling em a few bucks if you find you're using it of course.
