My point, from earlier in this thread, was the FoxPro is the world's most awesome desktop database application development environment, as long as you're willing to stick to the Windows platform. And replacing it is a challenge because it's an IDE, a debugger, a programming language (or three: XBase, SQL, LLFFs, TextMerge, and more), a compiler, a local data engine, a graphical design language, a report writer, and... well, more.
