These are 2 established programs that were built with the framework. They are separate companies that approached me with the question about converting to an SQL back end. I have not done this.
My request is if someone has done this, I'd like to hear some feedback about the project.
It sounds like both companies will want a rewrite in the future. They are looking for information to know which route to take. Convert to SQL then write new modules, or just rewrite dealing with dbf issues.

Commercial frameworks are good if and only if your needs are simple. When you need to do heavy customization, it would be as messy as if there was no framework. :)
