Yes - it is entertaining - getting a look at the inside of the Fox co.! Its also fun reading about the development of FoxPro - which they originally codenamed FireFox. And, remembering the excitement of it first being unveiled by Dave himself at the Fox Dev. conf. I attended. So - in reading this book - I can Seriously relate to my own experiences - originally working w/Foxbase+, then being the 1st at my job to get to play with FoxPro. Although, I just finished the chapter where this programmer woman named Carol was fired. And, Kerry & the others thought it strange when it happened - especially since Dave had another programmer, Chris, fire the woman instead of himself.
Interesting indeed Momma!

However, when I did find - was a small book called FoxTales: Behind the Scenes at Fox Software. And, in the past I have read some true stories about technology - like "Mind of a New Machine" and "iWoz". So - I figured this would be interesting. And, indeed - Kerry Nietz is doing a great job in telling of the story. Am at the point in the book where the product was renamed from FireFox to FoxPro - and Kerry is relaying his work in creating the Report Writer (originally based upon a 3rd party program - which they then integrated into FoxPro for DOS).
A great book. I looked, and, yes, it is on the shelf about five feet away. I should reread it.
