Gentlemen, Just came across a really neat free utility to transfer files between different devices up to 10Gb in size. It is called Sendanywhere and it just works with no adware, nagware to ask you to buy the full product (there isn't one!!).
You can inter transfer from IOS, MacOSx, Windows and Linux seamlessly and very simply. There is even an outlook extension that is brilliant.
In all versions apart from the outlook extension you select the files to send then you are given a code which you then give to the recipient who enters it into the app at their end and bingo, the files are instantly transferred. With the outlook extension a link is sent in the email to the recipient and when they click it the download starts immediately ... they don't even need to download or load the ap as it is all done via their web browser ... with no nagware.
I was/am impressed as the grief we get when trying to send emails with attachments more than 20Mb is considerable....
There is also an extension for Gmail allowing you to bypass the Google limit of 25Mb for attachments.
Give it a go and report back!
Dave
