Why bother when you can do it in one step?
You don't HAVE to send 10Gb and it means that the occasional large file is very simple to send in one action even if you only have a web browser at either end.

I would have cut the 10G files into smaller fragments using 7-zip, then sent them fragment by fragment. No special tools nor services needed!
