My colleague and I are going to be servicing a large chain of franchisees soon and I wanted to have an online ticket system where they could submit tickets and see the status/history of their tickets as well. His investigation turned up some but they were either too complex (not user friendly) or buggy.
I was thinking I'd create some simple VFP screens and use Thierry Nivelet's FoxInCloud to make it a web app, but I also wanted to poll the group to see what other options are out there that folks have good things to relate.
Data collection: - franchisee number/location - user - date - ticket ID - category - sub-category - priority - notes - tech assigned
Obviously there's a parent-child relationship with the date and tracking history, but you get the idea.
Ideas?
