I have connected Windows 7/8/10 Desktops to Windows Server 2003/2008/2010/2012 without any issues. This has been done in early 2012.

Not good unless you want to see everything on a remote server drive or have everyone with the same level of access to all data.

The 'Pro' variety of Windows 10 should be the one used for connecting to Windows domains too.
