It's not just speed, although I do think LMI's compression/diffing algorithms are way ahead of all the others. It's also the selection filtering and syncing capabilities. Most of the other solutions are no better than using File Explorer in an RDP environment and in some cases the early releases were so buggy with file transfer as to render them unusable for that purpose. The one flaw LMI still has is when transferring an existing file over a certain size, it fails to overwrite the target file and leaves it in a corrupted state. Of course, I want to replace that file anyway so I delete the file on the target and transfer it as if it were new.
I don't think it's how often I have a lot of files to transfer (size or quantity) but how much pain does it cause me when I do have to do that.

It's adequate. LMI is still head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to file transfer.

Hi Richard,
You must be dealing with large files transferring quickly. My interactions have dealt with files NOT of great size, and very low frequency so it was adequate.
How often are you transferring files??
